First Innings (India Batting)

In the first 8 overs, India was slightly comfortable but between 8-15 overs many crucial wickets of Virat Kohli, Sanju Samson, Manish Pandey, Lokesh Rahul and Hardik Pandya falled. At one time it was looking like India will score above 170 runs but when wickets start falling it looked like if India scored 140 runs it will be good for them at that stage. But at the last phase of the innings we saw a magical and fiery innings of Jadeja and in result India managed to score 161 runs. There were two amazing innings played by Rahul (51 of 40) and Jadeja (44 of 23).

Ravindra Jadeja

Jadeja Injury

Between the innings of Jadeja, a ball was thrown by Mitchell Starc which was hit in the helmet of Jadeja. Before the innings of Australia's batting Yuzvendra Chahal was selected as a substitute of Ravindra Jadeja as he was also a spinner. But Justin Langer (Australia's Head Coach) was not happy with this decision as when the ball was hit, Jadeja continued his innings rather than going back to the pavilion.

Second Innings (Australia Batting)

Australia got a fiery start by Finch and D Arcy Short after which it was looking like Australia will grab the match easily by 10 wickets. But Chahal who was playing as a substitute was like a nightware for Aussies as he snatched the match from Australia by taking the wickets of Finch, Smith and Wade. After that Australia can't handle the pressure and losed wickets continuously which resulted an easy win for India.
