Ultimate Kricket Challenge, New format of Cricket | Full Explanation

Recently a new cricket league had been established named as Ultimate Kricket Challenge. This league is played in a strange format. This format is quite similar to Test Format in some cases but is too small in comparison to other formats is cricket i.e., ODI, T20 and Test. Here is the full information of this league and its rule.

STADIUM

This league's matches are played in a small stadium. This stadium is entirely covered with nets. These nets are provided to give the batsmen extreme competition to hit the ball far away.

RULE

This tournament is too strange in comparison to others. Like other formats, in this format also there is a match between two sides. But rather than 11 players in a team, just one player play from a team. Both captains are invited in the toss and who so ever won the toss, he got a chance to bat or ball and also to choose the ace player for him before the other captain. An ace player can bowl at least 7 balls and a captain can bowl at least 8 balls. An ace player could bowl but can't bat.

Every team gets the opportunity to bat for two innings such as in test cricket. 15 balls are played per innings. In the whole stadium's boundary, there are separations for every run like 1 run, 2 runs, 3 runs and 4 runs. The player had to hit the ball to reach the boundary and to collect runs. After hitting the ball every batsman had to run at least one run to equip the run he had hit for. If the ball got stopped by the fielder before reaching the boundary, the runs ran by the batsman are given to the batsman. If a batsman got out in any type, 5 runs are deducted from his scoreboard. In case of run out while the player is running a fielder can also hit the ball in either end before the batsman reaches. If the batsman had to hit a six, he had to hit the ball straight in the till the ball touches the front wall as well as to run at least one run. If the ball got stuck in the nets, umpire declares it as a no-ball. 12 runs are also given to the batsman if he hit the bulls-eye. A bullseye is a small circle which is situated too far from the batsman. If the batsman hit in it he gets 12 bonus runs.

In the last innings of the match, if the batting team reached the lead few balls before, the match is not stopped at that moment only, the balls left are also played by the batsman. This is because, if the batsman got dismissed, the runs will be deducted and if the score after runs decreased would be less than the winning target the bowling team can win the match.
