IPL 2021 has recently started again. Due to covid, this had stopped last time. The last time this was held in India but now this type it is being played in UAE like the previous year.
Like last year this year also there is a lot of chaos regarding the top 4. At the first half of the season, it looked like just 4 contenders that were going to the playoffs but here we are going to discuss that which teams can qualify in the playoffs. Will the last teams will fight back?
1. Chennai Super Kings
After defeating Bangalore, we can say that Chennai had qualified in the playoffs as they had gained 14 points and in previous seasons of ipl, teams with these points and this net run rate had surely qualified. Moreover, many more matches are left to play for them and as a strong side, they can win most of them.
2. Delhi Capitals
Who can forget this team? After changing the whole brand, this team also changed its performance. From the bottom 4, they're in the top 4 from the last 3 years. This team is also performing well this season and this will be a matter to see that will they finish at the top 2 or below 2.
3. Royal Challengers Bangalore
4. Kolkata Knight Riders
This team had won the last two ipl seasons consecutively and had disapproved of the theory of odd-even that people say to them. This year due to the comeback of Chennai they can't be at the top 2 but are in the top 5. So they can come back easily but in case Rajasthan won two more matches then it will be difficult to say. There are three competitors for the fourth position. At the starting the second part of the app, it looked like Bangalore can easily qualify and can also compete with Chennai and Delhi for the top 2 but now after the comeback of two teams I.e. Kolkata and Rajasthan, it is too difficult for me to figure who is the fourth team that is going to the playoffs.
