This match was like a horror nightmare for the Indian Team. After the Second Day, India was too comfortable to win the match but in the third day the conditions shuffled and Australian bowlers were to heavy on Indian batsmen. This match was having five days but the match finished on the third day. This series will be too difficult for India as this was the last match of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will also not play the second match.

Full Match Story

Day 1

Toss : India won the toss and elected to bat first.

India got a bad opening as Prithvi Shaw was out just in the second ball of the match by Mitchell Starc. Mayank Agrawal was also out in the 19th over. In the middle Cheteshwar Pujara stuck in the crease and scored 43 runs in 160 balls. After Pujara, Virat scored an half century. Virat scored 73 runs in 180 balls but he was dismissed in an unlucky fashion which is run out. 

Day 2

After the day 1 it was possible that India can score around 350 but in the session 1 of the day 2 India was all-out in the score of 244. After the session 1 of Day 2 India was in a very bad stage but in the session 2 and 3 Indian bowlers did a miracle and all-out the full team of Australia in the score of 191. The only players who performed from Aussies side were Tim Paine and Marnus Labuschagne. After that India came to bat and Prithvi Shaw flopped again as he was dismissed by Pat Cummins. After him Jasprit Bumrah came to stop the rest balls of the day with his defensive technique.







Day 3

After the first two days the full momentum was with India but in the first session of the third day the full match was in the hand of Australia as Indian team scored a shameful innings of just 36 runs which was there least score in an innings in the Test cricket. Now the Australia had the target of 93 runs which they easily chase with the help of the half-century of Joe Burns.
