England Tour of India 2021 | Full Introduction, Brodcasters and Schedule

Major Highlights
• This series will be the first cricket series played in India after the coronavirus pandemic.
Only three venues had been opted for the full series.
• This series will be broadcasted on Star Sports TV Network.

It has been so late that any cricket match had been played in India. Last time South African team was touring India and after the first two T20i matches the full series had been cancelled due to the covid pandemic. But recently BCCI has announced that England will be touring India in February-March before the IPL.

Matches & Venues
In this tour four Test matches, five T20I matches and three One-Day matches will be played. Knowing about the current pandemic situation only three venues had been selected for matches. Chennai's Chepauk Stadium will be hosting the first two Test matches. The world's largest stadium of Ahmedabad, Motera Stadium which has the capacity of around 1 lakh people will also be hosting 7 matches, 2 Tests and all 5 T20Is. Pune's Maharastra Cricket Association Stadium will be hosting all 3 One-Day matches.

             This tour would be very important for both the teams as the ODI Series will be directly relate with the qualifications for the ODI World Cup which will held in India. And the Test Series will be related with the World Test Championship. In the Test Series one Day-Night Test will also be played. This time this will be the third Day-Night Test for India.
